Our Services
School-Based Therapy
Building Blocks offers speech therapy services in schools. We have certified Speech-Language Pathologists as well as certified Speech-Language Assistants to provide therapy services that meet IEP requirements. Our Speech-Language Pathologists are trained to meet ADE compliance requirements in all paperwork (IEP and METs) we write for schools. Our therapists love working with children and helping them succeed in this environment. We also believe in being team players as we work alongside school teachers and special education staff. Many of our therapists are also certified to conduct hearing and vision screens.
Clinic-Based Therapy
We have the privilege of working with private schools and offering clinic-based services right on the campus. Private schools are typically not required to offer speech therapy services to students as district and charter schools are. We partner with private schools who allow us space on their campus in exchange for speech services for students paid for by their families - there is no cost to the schools. We can bill insurance on behalf of families and can also see students who qualify for services through DDD (Division of Developmental Disabilities) and Mercy Care. DDD is a division of the Department of Economic Security. Our private pay rates are also typically less due to the low overhead costs. Therapy is 1:1 and delivered just like in a clinic setting.
Tele-Therapy
We also provide speech therapy services via tele-therapy, which is a convenience as well as an opportunity for families to a part of the therapy process.
